We may collect limited technical information necessary to operate the service, including:

• Anonymous application diagnostics and crash reports.
• App version and usage statistics.

• Calendar integration status (enabled or disabled).

We do not collect unnecessary personal information or track your activity across third-party apps and websites.

3. How Voice Processing Works

Spit AI uses Apple's native speech recognition technologies to convert spoken audio into text. Depending on your device and Apple's available capabilities, speech processing may occur on-device or through Apple's speech recognition services.

Once transcription is complete, only the generated text transcript may be securely transmitted to our backend infrastructure for AI-based task structuring and extraction.

Voice recordings are not permanently stored by Spit AI unless explicitly required for temporary processing. We do not build voice profiles or use your recordings for advertising purposes.

4. AI Task Generation

To convert your transcript into structured tasks, Spit AI securely sends the transcript text to our backend infrastructure, where it is processed by our AI service providers.

The AI system is used exclusively to:

• Identify tasks.
• Extract reminder dates and times.
• Determine task priority.
• Structure your input into actionable task data.

Your data is not used to train our own machine learning models.

5. Account and Authentication

Spit AI may create a local guest profile to allow immediate use of the application. If you later choose to register or sign in, your data may be associated with your account to enable synchronization across devices.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

6. Calendar Integration

If you choose to enable calendar integration, Spit AI may request permission to access your device's calendar.

Calendar access is used solely to:

• Create calendar events based on your tasks.
• Display relevant scheduling information within the app.

Spit AI does not modify or access your calendar without your permission, and you may revoke calendar access at any time through your device settings.

7. Notifications

Spit AI uses local notifications to remind you about upcoming tasks and reminders that you create.

Notification content is generated from your own task information and is displayed only on your device. You can enable or disable notifications at any time through iOS Settings or within the application.

8. Data Storage and Security

Your task data and account information may be securely stored using our cloud infrastructure providers to enable synchronization and backup functionality.

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to help protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Spit AI relies on trusted third-party services to provide core functionality. These services may process limited information as necessary to perform their functions.

Our service providers may include:

• Apple (speech recognition, notifications, and system services).
• Supabase (authentication, database, and cloud infrastructure).
• Google Gemini (AI task structuring and analysis).
• RevenueCat (subscription and purchase management).
• Apple App Store (payments and subscription processing).

Each third-party provider operates under its own privacy practices and policies.

10. Data Retention

We retain your information only for as long as necessary to provide the services you request, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If you delete your account, we will make reasonable efforts to delete or anonymize your associated personal data, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate operational purposes.
